Relentless on details, the design of The Plantation has been two-years in the making. No stone has been left unturned and the final result will be testament to the hard work.
Manjula Kalhara, is the Principle Architect and founder of Manjula Kalhara De Silva Architects in Sri Lanka. He was born in Ambalangoda and received his educational qualifications from Dharmashoka College, Ambalangoda. He received his bachelor Degree (B.Sc) in Built Environment in year 2002 and his Master’s Degree in Architecture in year 2006, from the University of Moratuwa.
Manjula received Commended pass for his dissertation. In year 2008 he advanced professionally as a Chartered Architect by completing the AIA(SL). He is an Associate Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects and Member of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and International Member of Royal Institute of British Architects.
Manjula has spent much time working with both Dale, Sabrina Rennie and the Galle Face Group on The Plantation project. Through hundreds of revisions, they have been relentless in providing a luxury villa and resort that has outstanding details. With breathtaking views from the vast property hilltop and vistas ranging from paddy, mangrove, mountains, lake and forest.
The project is bound to make a mark in Sri Lanka and with the project underway, all parties are excited to see the results of their hard work.
